Safety
Safety is always our number one priority. We want to make sure you feel comfortable and secure in our home and our house becomes an extension of your house. We live in a quiet suburban neighborhood, our neighbors are friendly. It’s the type of community where people look out for each other and you’d feel comfortable leaving your front door unlocked (Although not recommended).

Accommodations
You’ll be provided your own private room, with a flatscreen TV equipped with an Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu, HBO MAX, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Youtube Premium, etc). You’ll also have an Apple computer which you’ll be able to use freely. Also a queen-size bed, your own private bathroom, dresser drawer, and closet space.
Schedule
Monday – Friday
7 am – 9:00 am: assist with morning routine: assisting kids with brushing their teeth, washing their face, getting dressed for school, and morning breakfast and School drop-off.
[Break] 9:30 am – 2 pm Morning break: time for you to do whatever makes you happy.
3 pm -5:30 pm (School pick up & after school activities)
7 pm – 8:15 pm (Bedtime routine) assist with bedtime routine (brushing teeth, changing into pajamas, and 2 bedtime stories)
Weekends:
Two Saturdays per month we’ll need your help with the kids (6 hours)
Total Hours: 38 – 40 hours per week
Time Off: every other weekend the kids go to their grandparents’ house so you will have off. Also, you’ll have off every Sunday.
Holidays & Paid Time Off: you’ll have off every major USA Holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year, Memorial Day, Easter, etc). Also, on any major Holiday that you celebrate you’ll also have off, we just need to know in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
*Please note, you are welcome to spend Holidays with us as a part of our family or travel/do your own thing.
Also, when you have time off you’re more than welcome to hang out in our home. We want you to look at this as you being part of our family.
Weather
The weather in North Carolina is nice all year round. We get an extended 6 weeks of summer.
Winter’s aren’t too cold, typically between 40 – 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Springtime is typically 60 – 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
Summer is in the 70 – 95 degrees Fahrenheit and Fall is typically 60 – 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you enjoy open skies and great weather this is definitely for you.

Our Community
We live in a very pleasant community, our neighbors are very friendly and very quiet, and for the most part, everyone keeps to themselves. We also enjoy lots of neighborhood BBQs.
There are different recreational locations you can visit with the kids near our home. There are 3 major malls, multiple community pools, different parks, and lakes, there are also beaches.
As a plus, there are a few universities close to home: DUKE University, Eastern North Carolina University, University of NC, NC State University, and Wake Forest University.
